Born and raised in New York City, I’ve been marketing low budget ventures since 1996. With a background in vocational counseling and project management, I first began an entrepreneurial lifestyle by providing consultations in brand development, marketing strategies and effective communication solutions to freelancers and performing artists.
Since then I’ve developed and produced several entertainment ventures including live theater performances and a short feature film. I know how to create marketing strategies and have a growing passion for online entertainment trends, which is why I’m a big advocate to others for building a strong Internet presence. I encourage people to capitalize on the opportunities available online as a way to cultivate their brand among their market and competitors.
I’ve supported several professional associations, including the Downtown Women’s Club where I had facilitated monthly “Table Talk” brunches for over 2 years. There I led discussions on various startup business topics such as cost-effective marketing, do-it-yourself publicity, effective networking, among others.
I first got involved in the entertainment industry back in January 2005 when I teamed up with an old friend to produce a live comedy sketch show. Since then she I’ve managed a performance troupe and secured promotional sponsorship for bi-monthly live shows at the Broadway Comedy Club in the heart of the NYC’s theater district.
Currently I create a number of online businesses including e-books, e-commerce websites and an online entertainment network that is scheduled to launch in Summer 2008.
